Darn it!

Hot Docs released its People's Choice Award top ten and the winner was the movie that I wanted to see the most, but didn't get a chance to see due to conflicts with prior commitments.
Darn it, darn it, darn it!
Still, I can't really complain. I ended up seeing 12 films for free (unless you count the cab ride to one of the screenings). I don't think any of the films that I saw were misses. All of them were pretty great, actually.
I've written about a couple of them, but hopefully in the next little while, I'll get around to the rest of them.
My favorite of the lot (which I haven't written about yet) was Family Portrait in Black and White, which also won an award.
